Hamsters are nocturnal animals which means they sleep all day and are awake at night. Our hamster, Muffin, finds it difficult to sleep during the day because he likes to know what's going on in the room.
On baking days when there are lovely smells of cakes and biscuits his little nose twitches with excitement. We always have to give him something special as a treat.
He's very friendly and likes to go exploring.
